4. Your Rights as a California Resident
Under the CCPA and CPRA, California residents have the following rights:
4.1 Right to Know
You have the right to request that Free VPN Mac disclose what personal information has been collected about you in the past 12 months, including the categories of personal information collected, the categories of sources, the business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom it has been shared.
4.2 Right to Delete
You have the right to request deletion of personal information collected about you, subject to certain exceptions under the CCPA. Contact form submissions and email enquiries can be deleted upon request.

Free VPN Mac will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA or CPRA rights. Exercising your rights will not result in denial of services, different pricing, or lower quality of content or VPN service.
5. How to Submit a Privacy Request
California residents may submit a privacy request by:

Your request must include sufficient information to verify your identity and specify what right you are exercising. Free VPN Mac will respond to verified requests within 45 days as required by the CCPA. If additional time is needed, you will be notified within the initial 45-day period.
Note: Because Free VPN Mac collects minimal personal information, the scope of most requests will be limited. Google Analytics data is anonymised and cannot be attributed to a specific individual.
6. Data Retention
Contact form submissions and email enquiries are retained for a maximum of 12 months and then deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
VPN service data (data transfer totals and last activity timestamp) is retained for as long as the account is active. Inactive accounts are periodically removed.
Anonymised Google Analytics data is retained according to Google’s standard retention settings.
7. Authorised Agents
California residents may designate an authorised agent to submit a CCPA request on their behalf. To do so, the authorised agent must provide written proof of authorisation. The request must be submitted to info@freevpnmac.com with the subject line “CCPA Authorised Agent Request”.
8. Changes to This Notice
This CCPA Privacy Notice may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law or data practices. When updated, the Last Updated date at the top of this page will be revised.
