END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you (“the User”) and Free VPN Mac (“the Licensor”) for the use of the Free VPN Mac VPN application for macOS (“the Application”). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to these terms, do not download, install, or use the Application.
1. Grant of License
Free VPN Mac grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Free VPN Mac application on Mac devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
This license does not include:
- The right to sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit the Application
- The right to modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Application
- The right to reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application
- The right to use the Application on behalf of any third party without written permission from Free VPN Mac
2. Description of the Application
The Free VPN Mac application is a free VPN client for macOS that:
- Encrypts your internet connection using industry-standard AES-256 encryption
- Masks your real IP address by routing your traffic through Free VPN Mac servers
- Protects your data on public Wi-Fi networks and untrusted connections
- Allows you to connect to VPN servers in multiple locations
The Application is provided free of charge for personal use. Free VPN Mac reserves the right to introduce premium features or paid tiers in the future.
3. Installation Requirements
The Application is designed exclusively for macOS. The following requirements apply:
- A Mac device running macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later
- An active internet connection
- Sufficient storage space to install the Application
Free VPN Mac does not guarantee compatibility with all Mac hardware configurations or future macOS versions. Free VPN Mac will make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility with current and recent macOS releases.
4. User Account
Use of the Free VPN Mac application may require the creation of a user account. Account registration is subject to the following:
- You must provide a valid email address if account registration is required
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must notify Free VPN Mac immediately at info@freevpnmac.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account
Free VPN Mac reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates this EULA or the Acceptable Use Policy at freevpnmac.info/acceptable-use/
5. Permitted Use
The Application may be used for the following lawful personal purposes:
- Protecting your internet connection on public Wi-Fi networks
- Browsing the internet privately
- Masking your IP address for personal privacy
- Accessing region-restricted content where legally permitted in your jurisdiction
- Securing your data from third-party surveillance
- Remote work and accessing business systems securely
6. Prohibited Use
The following uses of the Application are strictly prohibited and constitute a material breach of this EULA:
6.1 Illegal Activities
- Any use that violates applicable local, national, or international law
- Accessing, distributing, or storing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Fraud, identity theft, or any financial crime
- Drug trafficking or facilitating the sale of controlled substances
- Facilitating terrorism or any activity promoting violence
6.2 Technical Abuse
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Application
- Modifying or tampering with the Application or its security features
- Using the Application to conduct cyberattacks, DDoS attacks, or network scanning without authorization
- Deploying malware, ransomware, or other malicious software through the Application
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to Free VPN Mac servers or infrastructure
6.3 Service Abuse
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier data limits
- Using automated tools or bots to abuse the service
- Reselling or sublicensing access to the Application or service
- Mining cryptocurrency using the Application or Free VPN Mac network infrastructure
- Excessive bandwidth consumption that negatively affects other users
7. Intellectual Property
The Free VPN Mac application, including its source code, design, interface, graphics, and all related materials, is the exclusive intellectual property of Free VPN Mac and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
Nothing in this EULA transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You receive only the limited license to use the Application as described in Section 1. Free VPN Mac reserves all rights not expressly granted in this EULA.
8. Updates and Modifications
Free VPN Mac may release updates, patches, or new versions of the Application from time to time. These updates may be required to continue using the Application. By continuing to use the Application after an update, you agree to the updated terms of this EULA if any changes are made.
Free VPN Mac reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Application at any time without prior notice.
9. Privacy and No-Logs Policy
Use of the Free VPN Mac application is subject to the Privacy Policy at freevpnmac.info/privacy/ and the No-Logs Policy at freevpnmac.info/no-logs/. These policies explain what data is collected when you use the Application and how it is handled. Free VPN Mac operates under a strict no-logs policy and does not collect or store your browsing activity, original IP address, or VPN session data.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Free VPN Mac application is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied. Free VPN Mac makes no warranty that:
- The Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from bugs
- The Application will be compatible with all Mac devices or future macOS versions
- The Application will provide complete anonymity or security in all circumstances
- The Application will be available at all times or free from outages
Use of the Application is entirely at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Free VPN Mac shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Application
- Any interruption or termination of the Application or service
- Any security breach, data loss, or privacy issue while using the Application
- Any unauthorised access to your data or device
- Any third-party content accessed through the use of the Application
This limitation applies regardless of whether the damages were foreseeable and regardless of the form of the action.
12. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. Free VPN Mac may terminate this license at any time if you breach any term of this EULA, the Terms and Conditions, or the Acceptable Use Policy. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Application immediately ceases
- You must uninstall and delete all copies of the Application from your devices
Sections 7, 10, 11, and 13 of this EULA survive termination.
13. Governing Law
This EULA is governed by generally accepted principles of international software licensing law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to attempt to resolve it in good faith before pursuing any formal legal process.
14. Changes to This EULA
Free VPN Mac may update this EULA from time to time. When updated, the Last Updated date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated EULA. It is recommended that you review this EULA periodically.
